Punch & Judy-inspired
Marianne will bring you a hilarious interactive glove-hand puppet puppet show, which is inspired by the traditional Punch and Judy style shows and adapted for a modern audience.
The show includes audience participation, call back and interaction.
Music, rhythm, slapstick and silliness will keep you hypnotised and glued to your seat!

Family-friendly
Up to 50 students (smaller groups more effective)
Program can be repeated to accommodate more students, different age groups or classes
Adult supervision required
Requires at least 30min before show set up and 20mins post-show pack down
Requires 2 x 2 metres space for staging
Small sound amplification included, suitable for average classroom space or medium lecture theatre or sports hall

Marianne Mettes
Award-winning artist, puppeteer, musician, and educator, Marianne Mettes is the founder of Access Art Academy and PuppetOOdle.
She has trained under international master puppeteers, performed for audiences of up to 10,000, and created puppets, shows and workshops for clients, including Sesame Street, the Canberra Theatre Centre, the National Museum of Australia, and Questacon.
As an accredited arts teacher, Marianne has taught students from K-12 as well as Higher Education. She holds a Master of Teaching, a Bachelor in Fine Arts (Visual Arts), and a Graduate Diploma in Radio Broadcasting.
Currently, Marianne is focused on offering high-quality professional learning for educators in puppetry as well as bringing her puppet shows and workshops to local Canberra schools.
