Learn professional puppetry techniques to bring up-cycled items to life!
Suitable for teachers of all levels. Taught by internationally trained puppeteer and registered teacher, Marianne Mettes.
You will learn:
How to look at items you’d normally throw away in a new light
Learn professional puppetry techniques
Learn how to embed puppetry and literacy within your curriculum
Learn how to include puppetry into your lesson plans and sequences
Gain valuable feedback on your lesson ideas and puppetry techniques

What: Bring objects to life with puppetry
Where: Gungahlin Community Centre, 47 Ernest Cavanagh St, Gungahlin ACT 2912
When: Thursday afternoon, 26 June 4-6pm
Experience/prerequisites: No experience required. This course is suitable for adult learners only (ages 16+)
Cost: $95 for one 2 hour session
Materials: All materials provided, but encouraged to bring items that are sentimental and moveable, your own notebook, pencils/pens.
